http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/93517 As the forum states the cactuar earings was for an event which involved killing titan and a random world would be selected to get the earings. now since the event is over every single world including the japanese servers will be getting earings in the coming days. As to how we are all going to get them is unclear as of right now but will be updated soon. Also BT will probably flip the fuck out when seeing this information.
