Shananigans, I said had he just logged in the exact time the next day. He would have gotten them both within 30 min. Bet was made at what 10am Pacific and he got it around 9pm Pacific. Almost 12 hours before he got both of them. Sigh -_- at least Pax is now closer to his achievement.

Your theory regarding someone who only spent 10 hours could be falistic, in fact you have to count all the time he waited, in comparison to someone who didn't use the waiting method. Overall he may have spent less time in the fates themselves, but may have spent longer total since any time they didn't get one within 30 min they quit for the day. What should be counted is not time in fates, but total GAME TIME SPENT before obtaining the item (they only spent 30 minutes in the fate, quit, and spent 4-8? or who really knows how many hours doing other thing) but how many days and weeks did this take overall to obtain all 12 atmas, how many days did they just quit? Counting only the time spent in the fate, and comparing that to the time spent in the fates by other people does not accurately measure the amount of time given to obtain the items. Under this more accurate method I think you will find the theory to be a moot point. You might make an argument that they were able to utilize that time in game to better use, but that is not the claim made here, the claim made was they spent less time based on an inaccurate method of counting. Even if I spent 20 hours getting all 12, and they spent 10, if I did all twenty in one week and they took three weeks then I still logically obtained mine faster, and am able to upgrade it sooner than someone following that other theory, giving me a distinct advantage. Of course you could get lucky with the waitandsee method and get them all quickly, but this is pure chance, not a sure fire method.

That could be true, but seeing how all of a sudden at 9pm you got your remaining atmas at within 30min of another. I am willing to bet that if I start around noon and can finish by the end of night. I choosed to wait a day method because I dont know when that cycle was going to change.
