Alright, I'm posting a new thread for this because I want to be able to see the results easier, but the concept is, I am making the video's for our Free Company and I want everyone to be happy with them as they could represent us as a group. so the question for this poll is;
- Would you rather have music in the video's, or would you rather have the Teamspeak audio / in-game sounds
I welcome any other feedback in this thread as well, I am aware the black bars around the video's are annoying, and the general lame quality of my game visuals, I'm working on getting off my 16:10 aspect ratio my monitor's stuck at.
I would still have the teamspeak audio over the stream btw, this is JUST the video vote really, I have a sample video(Garuda) uploaded atm of what music would be like.
I think it depends on what is said on TS. If it's something that is worth putting in there then I would let the conversation play. If there isn't a lot of talking during a particular event or there is too much talking during a particular event, then I would suggest music.
First release for members only, TS Audio. Because I want all members to see how we called out different abilities/cooldowns so that they in turn can put the same methods in practice, or even improve them further.
First release for Public, Music I want to share FC progress with the public to entice them to join us but not share the TS audio which is often unrefined on our first kills. (Also want to keep bukakke machines out of that lol Iron)
Revamped Release for Public, TS Audio. We can release updated, refined videos with focused TS chatter (like Ifrit recently) to showcase our top notch performances.
I wouldn't exactly call Ifrit refined TS chatter, that was a particularly difficult video to find a "starting" and "ending" point as I don't like starting in the middle of someone's sentence, or ending in the middle of someone's sentence(although I was happy with the chatter at the end of the Ifrit video actually, the ending wasn't difficult to grab)
I really like Hitaru's idea actually, I can just make the initial release without any enhancements private, and then that will give me time for enhancements and music, The idea I had for music was a guy on youtube who calls himself "The Hamster Alliance" I found his music the other day and I really liked it

Anyways I got rights from him to use all of his music on my stream so I'm going to be using it for intro / outro segments. I can also use a few songs for our video's. He gave me over 250 tracks to use.
