Differences on my first watch appear to be:

More lasers: 4 instead of 2

Poison puddle things: both during the fight, and when the Oppressor's jump - during the jump these guys move to a far corner and stagger the puddles along the side. Seems like if you put poison puddles in a bad spot, it can fuck you.

Raid wide AOE seems heavier, but not insane.

Also, Kyden linked me: https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/3e242j/a1_savage_first_try/

Seems like a rather insane DPS check.

I would not want to be on TS with that guy. All he does is talk about himself and apparently he doesn't know when to use fester lol.

It does seem like an easy fight though. I'm not surprised it has been cleared already.

Yea - aside from the DPS check at Faust, it seems like only a moderate change to what we've already seen. I know DPS output is tied to how well people know their classes and is an added difficulty boost in some ways, but I was kind of hoping for more of a mechanics challenge. Hopefully a3/a4 seem more interesting.

And I would not like to be in TS with that guy either, I'd probably end up muting him.
