I'm not creative so I just named my FFXI avatar after the front man of my favorite band and probably the best MC alive:

I think your name is awesome, BT. Roots are badass. I kind of wish I could change my surname, but I'll live. I love Tolkien's stories, the Istari were the 5 Wizards of Middle Earth. http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/w/wizards.html

My favorite author, though, is Ursula K. LeGuin. She has a series that starts with a book called A Wizard of Earthsea which was one of my favorites growing up. In it, your real/true name is something you shared only with people you trusted dearly, as part of the idea in the books is that anything's true name gave power over that thing. Anyway, Sparrowhawk was the nickname/common name of the protagonist.

So yea. Wizard stuff, that's where my name comes from. :)

Oh, and under no circumstances should anybody watch the SciFi (SyFy now right?) channel movie version of A Wizard of Earthsea, it's caked in poop.

My cat's name is Gallifrey, and I named her after the planet that Doctor Who is from. Rassilon was the founder of the Time Lord society on Gallifrey and helped develop time travel. The 'Seal of Rassilon' is my avatar.

So my Miqo'te female character naturally has the God of Time (Althyk the Keeper). Unfortunately there was no Time Mage option!

Time Mage would be a badass class. Rez via reversing to the time before death so healer/team can change up strategy. I'd have you speed to a future where all my classes were 50 ;)

Ok I lied…

I remembered that a lot of ffxi taru names were rhyming or had some sort of repeating word in them so I went with that pattern.

The truth is I went on this website and looked at words that had to do with fire because I planned on making a BLM.

Japanese Name Site

I then decided to go with these 2 words
HIKARU meaning "light, radiance" (光) - Japanese unisex name.
HOTARU meaning "firefly" (蛍) - Japanese girl name.

But when I created my character, I decided that HITARU HOTARU had a better flow for a Lalafel so I went wit that.
