Simara Kestalyn originated when I was on my dial up days playing Everquest. I rolled a paladin and decided to come up with a name. Thinking at the time when created the name Simara , I thought it sounded female and never thought it would be an actual name.

Kestalyn was the surname I chose for the EQ paladin character, and I have been using the name in every MMO that I have played. As time rode on I developed Simara into an unfinished book character that I had originally started. The Kestalyn surname basis that it belonged to a family of high profile swordsmen.
